Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EdgeSubmit service ("Service") operated by EdgeSubmit ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
EdgeSubmit is a form submission API that processes and routes form data to configured destinations including email, webhooks, CRM platforms, and messaging services. The Service provides:
- A REST API endpoint for accepting form submissions
- Routing of submission data to email, webhooks, Slack, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and other integrations
- A dashboard for managing API keys, viewing submissions, and configuring integrations
- Spam protection via CAPTCHA verification
2. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Plans & Billing
EdgeSubmit offers multiple plans with different feature sets and usage limits:
- Free — Limited submissions per month, 1 API key, 1 form, email routing only
- Pro — Higher submission limits, multiple API keys and forms, webhooks and integrations
- Business — Higher limits, priority support, all integrations, and advanced features
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or phishing content
- Collect personal data without the consent of the data subjects
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Exceed the usage limits of your plan through automated or artificial means
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. API Usage
Your use of the EdgeSubmit API is subject to the following rules:
- API keys are confidential and should not be shared publicly or committed to public code repositories
- Rate limits apply based on your plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling
- You are responsible for all submissions made using your API keys
- We may monitor API usage for abuse, performance, and security purposes
6. Data Processing
When you use EdgeSubmit to collect form submissions from your users, you act as the data controller and EdgeSubmit acts as the data processor. You are responsible for:
- Obtaining appropriate consent from your users before collecting their data
- Providing a privacy policy on your own website that discloses the use of EdgeSubmit
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, logos, and branding, is owned by EdgeSubmit and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and content submitted through the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Availability & Support
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice for planned maintenance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- EdgeSubmit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
- We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services you integrate with (webhooks, CRMs, Slack, etc.)
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EdgeSubmit harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- Your account is used for abusive or illegal activity
- You fail to pay subscription fees when due
- We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice)
Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
